I'm an amateur photographer who's a writer by trade. So I enjoy photography that suggests a narrative. I welcome all constructive criticism as I'm looking to improve. Thanks for viewing my photos!

Ludovic Roudet from Charenton-le-Pont, France

Great abstract. The blurry light background is splendid.

@Ludovic Roudet: I'm happy that you like it! I found the background really interesting too.

Abena from Illinois, United States

Looks like you're near a dock or something of the sort? Lovely play with light and ISO, I really like the cool mood I get from the building and stuff behind. Beautiful song to go with it too, it reminds me of the group we were promised jetpacks :) Lovely image Jeremy!

@Abena: You're right, Abena. It is a dock, and I'm in the water. The light was doing amazing things.

Kate from EXETER, United Kingdom

Great title, I love your play with light.

@Kate: I'm glad you like it, Kate!

Basile Pesso from Barcelona, Spain

Perfect...As Billy Corgan said.

@Basile Pesso: Nice reference--love the Pumpkins. I appreciate the compliment.

Regina G. Santaella from Cancún, Mexico

This is spectacular, sort of looks like a dance, or like the whole place is shaking, or both. I'm very attracted to the lines in the background and the way the light's colours gracefully fade into the rest of the scene.

6 Jul 2013 3:09am

@Regina G. Santaella: I agree, Regina. I does look like the lights are dancing. And the water is moving, which makes it look as if it's shaking. I'm glad you find so much to like!

@L'angevine: Merci beaucoup!

Sharon Pleasants from Monroe, Louisiana, United States

Is this a composite of several shots? It's quite unique. Great abstract.

6 Jul 2013 9:15pm

@Sharon Pleasants: Actually, it's just one shot, Sharon. It does look like the lights are superimposed over the dock, though. I'm glad you like it!
